We don’t need to tell you that behavior is one of the biggest reasons why dogs are given up to
rescues and shelters. It’s the reason why they don’t find new homes, too.

If you are working for a rescue or shelter, the Academy course will give you:

  • The knowledge and technical skills to modify behavior problems to improve the prospects
    of rehoming
  • The knowledge and counselling skills to advise adopters on behavior issues and how to keep
up the good training work to minimize the number of dogs returned to your shelter
  • Training plans and techniques that you can share with foster or shelter colleagues to give the dogs in your care the best chance of adoption

All of which will give you the satisfaction of knowing you are making the most of the resources
and dedication you have at your shelter’s disposal and giving dogs the very best chance
of a happy future.
